This is a very good book to read for anyone. It teaches you to release your faith in the Word of God. The words we speak shape our lives rather we believe it or not. We so readily accept certain things and speak them into our lives, "I get allergies every fall, I'm afraid I'll fail if I do that, this/that happens to me every week, this is going to be a bad year, etc." We really believe we'll get the flu or allergies "every" November...this is calling something into being that is not. So........when the Word of God says to call those things that be not as tough they are, why don't we use that and speak it to our benefit as God intended. We readily call bad things into being, why not good things? Please read this book, "Your Spiritual Authority," or any of Charles Capps books and learn that your words do matter. Stop speaking ill fate into your life and speak "life, health, & prosperity into your life. Pay attention to the words you speak!
I have been a Christian all my life. I have never heard this type of worship in a sermon or class. It is amazing and I enthusiastically refer it to anyone who is looking for physical healing along with spiritual and soul healing. It will take you in a deeper walk with God and His son, Jesus. If you are looking for this, get the book. I was introduced to this author when a technician at the hospital I was at for tests for cancer gave me this man's pamphlet called God's Healing Power. My cancer is gone and I am celebrating healing in many other parts of my body. With this devotion to physical healing, God has opened so many other areas in my life that needed attention. I feel blessed by this "new" information. You will be blessed too.
I have been confessing God's Creative Power Will Work For You, God's Creative Power for Healing, and God's Creative Power for Finance for about 1 month and then I started reading Faith and Confession. OMG! These books have been around so long and I never knew my walk with Christ could be as close and as powerful as it has been in such a short period of time. Along with my daily bible reading my faith in God has been renewed and the scales have fallen from my eyes! One month ago I wondered if God had forgotten me and now He speaks to my heart everyday!Charles Capps is in heaven now but he has left a great legacy that will continue to help people generations to come. For me, Charles Capps is the best modern-day teacher/preacher on the power of The Word that I've ever read. This book speaks with such a clear and understandable explanation on the Biblical truth of how we should speak every minute of every day of our lives to receive the most out of life, that God wants us to experience. Even though he is no longer with us his voice will resonate through his books for generations to come. Check him out also on You Tube; you will be richly rewarded!
One of my favorite books. Charles Capps explains the importance of making ones confessions line up with what God's Word states. I was first introduced to Charles Capps by the writing of his daughter Annette. I found their website order this book for myself and then a second for a friend. About six months later, while looking in my late father's library, I saw two paperback books turned the wrong way and when I turned them the right way I found that my dad had purchased "Releasing the Ability of God" by Charles Capps. My father had been gone some 18 years or more when I found the book on his shelf. Amazing!
This is a wonderful book. I gave it a 5 star rating because Charles Capps takes the time to explain principles and expound on things that you might be afraid to admit "you just don't know." This book was written I think with the novice, simpleton and educated in mine. All are winners by reading this book and losers by not reading it. There is a wealth of information inside. This should be required reading for everyone.
One of my favorite books. The Bible is full of great promises of God toward and for us. If you're gonna talk about yourself, why not say what God says about you. If someone says something negative about you, no worries, God has decreed numerous Great things about you. And His word is the absolute truth! Mr Capps explains the awesome process of activating the power of God in your life by confessing (saying) what He says about YOU. I can attest to the positive outcomes of professing daily what God says about me. We are blessed. Let the redeemed of the Lord Say So!I highly recommend this book. Our words are full of power. This book will definitely build your faith and bring about God's supernatural intervention in all aspects and areas of your life.
I don't have much time to devote to this review so I'm just going to give you the basic, most important principal. This book is wonderful. I received it as a gift when I was a new Christian and I purchased it as a gift for another new Christian. It is 100% completely, biblically accurate. The tongue's purpose in our life is compared in the Bible to the rudder of a great ship. Even though it is one of the smallest members, it turns it wherever it will go. The Bible also says that life & death are in the power of the tongue. Everything God created He did by speaking and we are created in His likeness to do things the same way. Every miracle Jesus performed was done through speaking blessings over it...and on, and on, and on. This book not only lays out those principals but it does it in a way that is easy to understand and follow for the youngest of Christians or even for non-christians who are just curious. It also lays it out in a way that shows how to apply those principals to every day life and situations. It encourages and helps to build faith when circumstances and other people around you may be doing nothing but tearing it down. I absolutely encourage anyone to invest in this book and I believe every one would benefit in keeping one in their personal library because it is also a great refresher over time.Thanks & God bless!
