Although most people know Bruce Lee as an actor and a martial artist, he was also something of a philosopher, at least in his notebooks. And, annoyingly, he was good at that too. I have always found Lee's reflections on life and consciousness to be insightful, and they are the more impressive when one realizes how young he was when he had these insights. At any rate, Lee's thoughts are well worth pondering, so I recommend this book.
Spectacular book, specially for the philosophical content. The JKD section at the end of the book is way too repetitive, the very exact same things taken from his writings are repeated like 7 times. It could have been synthesized on a less repetitive way. Other than that, the book is great.
This is a great read if you're a Bruce Lee fan. A book of his personal thoughts & writings. Though there are a few passages written by some but over all it's all Bruce, which awesome if you ever wondered what he personally thought and what his views where.
Bruce Lee was more than a master of the martial arts, he was a master of life. Poetry, philosophy, forward thought, this book has it all. Even if you don't agree with everything he has to say, it's totally worth the read.
Bruce Lee, gone too soon. It amazes me how thoughtful his words were, even in letters to friends or in his personal notes. 10/10 get this book if you seek answers or a better path.

This book is seriously a very influential masterpiece brought to you mostly by Bruce Lee's essays, poems, quotes, and personal experiences throughout his existence with us. This all came together with the help of John Little too though, so some regards should be left to him as well. But as far as a compeling book goes this one should leap off the shelves into your arms! Don't miss this opportunity to read into who Bruce really was and not just another book on martial arts and how to become a so called, "Master!" This is one to read and fully grasp for sure!
Bruce Lee is the embodiment of the focused and fiercely driven yet thoughtful individual that many of us aspire to be but rarely achieve. When we do read the thought process of such a boldly original individual, it reminds those of us on the path to creative self-actualization to not become discouraged and forge ahead despite life's many obstacles.
