I homeschool my 8 yr and 3yr old boys. I bought this for our home library, thinking it would be like the smaller DK Eyewitness books, but it is a thick, heavy book, full of great pictures and information. Truly a "visual encyclopedia" as it states on the cover. I am very impressed. We also bought the Nat. Geographic Bug, Space and Animal Encyclopedias, and this is just as big and honestly, better with it's delivery. The Nat Geographic books are "all over the place" with their information and photos, not very organized.Again, a great reference book to have in your library. My kids have this to use as they grow up. Highly recommended.

This book is an excellent resource for homeschooling. We all love this book! It's full of great information while the photographs and pictures make it more kid friendly and keeps their interest.
Amazing book for kids on the body. We read through it as part of our homeschool curriculum. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have a medical background and want to teach my kids at a deeper level than the typical elementary body book so it is perfect for us. The pictures are engaging and vivid and my boys love discussing them.
I bought this for my 5-year old niece as she has interest in how the body works. An adult needs to read it with her and explain certain things. As she gets older she can read this herself. There are lots of great pictures and illustrations. It's a really nice book.

As a reference manual of the Human Body it has been very valuable is diagnosing some of the aches and pains and what they may mean.As an instruction manual I have learned a great deal about the human body and it's interrelationships and workings.As a reading book, it is interesting and very well arrannged.
